My work centres on ideas derived from observations of natural water – either from the coastline near my home, or from diving, from a cliff top, or from a garden pond etc. Its movements, rhythms and colours along with its strong sense of 3d and depth, are major preoccupations.
The effects of this environment on the surrounding terrain and the life found within, also figure strongly.
