Ros Cockram Paintings

Ros gained a B.A. degree at Loughborough College of Art and Design.

She then worked as a designer in the London Fashion and Textile industry for some years. Following this, she moved to Dorset and was a Lecturer Foundation Art Course for 9 years. Whilst teaching she also worked as a freelance designer-maker.

Most of Ros’ present work is painted from life and because the cut flowers would not survive sufficientlylong for her detailed technique, she employs her skills as a designer to achieve the final composition herself, as each subject comes into bloom.
